Leilehua R1 Pipeline & Storage Tank

The project used a combination of open trench installation and horizontal directional drilling to install 5,300 linear feet (LF) of new 12-inch fusible PVC piping from the Wheeler Army Airfield to a new 500,000‐gallon glass-fused-to-steel water storage tank on Higgins Road. A booster pump station with SCADA capabilities was later included into the project to provide the Golf Course with constant pressure for their irrigation and fire sprinkler systems.
